Appoint Your
AGM Proxy
If you hold Celtic PLC shares but cannot attend the General Meeting and AGM on 1 December in person, you can appoint someone to attend and vote on your behalf. CSL coordinates proxy appointments to Brian McLaughlin, so that shares which would otherwise go uncast are voted on the governance matters that affect every Celtic fan.
Appoint My ProxyEvery Celtic Share Has a Vote. Make Sure Yours Is Cast.
On 1 December 2026 Celtic plc holds two meetings on the same day: a General Meeting on changes to its articles of association, and the Annual General Meeting, covering the Board, remuneration, the auditors and four resolutions requisitioned by shareholders. If you cannot be at Celtic Park that day, a proxy is how your shares are still voted.
A proxy has to be appointed to a named person, not to a company. When you appoint through CSL, your proxy is Brian McLaughlin, who attends both meetings and votes your shares as set out below. Your shares, and the ownership of them, remain entirely yours.
It costs nothing. It takes minutes. And it matters.

Vote FOR Our Resolution
Celtic plc has issued the Notice of AGM. Any ordinary shareholder can vote and you do not need to be a CSL member.
When and where
1 December 2026, Celtic Park
- 9.30am
- General Meeting. Proposed changes to Celtic's articles of association.
- 12.00 noon
- Annual General Meeting. Including Resolution 15.
Telling us once covers both. Celtic issues a separate form for each meeting, so these are two appointments and you make both, each by its own deadline, including any adjournment.
What Resolution 15 asks
That Celtic appoint Georgeson, the asset reunification service run by the Company's own registrar Computershare, to trace shareholders who have lost touch with their shares and reunite them and their families with those shares and any unclaimed dividends. It is paid on a contingent fee, so there is no upfront cost to the club. It was requisitioned by CSL with the support of over 300 shareholders.
The Celtic plc board recommends shareholders vote FOR it. Its Notice states that the directors “intend to vote in favour of this resolution in respect of their own shareholdings and unanimously recommend that shareholders vote in favour”.
All votes will be taken on a poll, so every share counts.

Celtic's final cut-off is 12.00 noon on Monday 30 November 2026, and 30 November 2026 at 9.30 am for the General Meeting. Nothing can be accepted after that.
Shares must be registered in your name by 6pm on Friday 27 November 2026 to vote.
Know who you are appointing
A proxy hands your vote to a named person for one meeting. It is worth a minute to check who that is, and what they will do with it. Here is what you should expect to be told, by us or by anyone else asking for your proxy.
- Who he is
- Brian McLaughlin, director of Celtic Supporters Limited. He attends both meetings in person. Read his background on Our Team
- What he will do with your vote
- Brian McLaughlin will vote FOR Resolution 15. On all other resolutions, including the Articles changes, he will vote in line with CSL's published recommendations, which we will publish on this page before the deadline.
- What you get back
- When you tell us, we email you a confirmation and, if you want to direct your vote, a sheet showing which boxes to mark.
- How far it goes
- A proxy covers these two meetings and nothing else. It is not a standing authority and does not carry over to future meetings. Your shares and the ownership of them remain entirely yours.
If anyone asking for your proxy cannot answer those four questions, that is reason enough to think again.
CSL directors request that all shareholders attending the AGM conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the meeting.
