Celtic Supporters Limited is the data controller for all personal data submitted through our website or membership portal.

Types used: Essential (required for site functionality, login, payments, security), Analytics (site usage), Preference (user settings).

Consent: Visitors can accept or decline analytics cookies. Essential cookies cannot be disabled.

• Contract - to provide membership services, manage subscriptions, communicate operational updates and administer accounts.
• Consent - for marketing communications.
• Legitimate Interests - site security, fraud prevention, improving member experience, tracing lost shareholders, maintaining accurate membership records.
• Legal Obligation - keeping necessary financial and compliance records.
• Legal Right - where you support a requisition under sections 314 and 338 of the Companies Act 2006, we process and disclose your details because you are exercising your own statutory right as a member of Celtic plc, and the law requires the request to identify who is making it.

To provide membership services, manage subscription payments, communicate updates and governance activity, respond to enquiries, maintain shareholder engagement records, improve CSL's services, comply with legal duties, and deliver share tracing support.

We never sell personal data.

We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), email service providers, website hosting providers, CRM or membership management platforms, professional advisers (legal/accounting), regulators or authorities where required by law. All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements.

Celtic plc. If you sign a shareholder requisition, your name, registered address and shareholder reference number are provided to Celtic plc as part of that request, together with your signature and the confirmations you gave. This is not optional and it is not something we can do anonymously: a request under section 338 of the Companies Act 2006 must identify the members making it, and Celtic plc is entitled to verify each one against its share register. Celtic plc may also require evidence of your identity. We tell you this before you sign, and your consent is recorded with your signature.

Computershare Investor Services PLC. If you appoint a proxy for the Annual General Meeting and ask CSL to lodge it for you, your name, address, shareholder reference number and shareholding are provided to Computershare, Celtic plc's registrar, in order to lodge that appointment. If you choose to lodge the appointment yourself, we send nothing.

If you hold your shares through a platform or nominee and you complete a proxy instruction, your details are not sent to Celtic plc or Computershare by us. You send your instruction to your own platform yourself. CSL never asks for, and never holds, your platform login.

Data protection law asks us either to state how long we keep personal data, or, where a fixed period is not possible, to explain how we decide. Celtic Supporters Limited is run by volunteers and cannot guarantee deletion on a fixed timetable, so we set out our criteria rather than promise a schedule we could not honour.

• Membership data: kept while you are a member, and afterwards only for as long as it remains useful for membership administration, such as if you rejoin.
• Requisition signatures and proxy appointments: kept while the requisition or appointment is live, and afterwards only for as long as CSL may need to evidence what was submitted and on what terms.
• Enquiries and correspondence: kept while the enquiry is open, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us about it.
• Payment records: CSL does not hold your payment history. Stripe is the system of record for payments and retains them under its own terms. We store only the Stripe reference that links your membership to your subscription, kept with your membership record.

We do not keep personal data we no longer need, and we do not keep it indefinitely by default. Where a legal obligation requires records to be kept, that applies to CSL's own statutory and accounting records rather than to the data held on this website. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it.

Once a requisition has been submitted to Celtic plc we cannot withdraw your details from that submission, because it forms part of a formal request made under the Companies Act. You may still withdraw your support at any time, and we will record that you have done so.

Supporting a resolution. Celtic Supporters Limited coordinates shareholder resolutions at Celtic plc's Annual General Meeting. To put a resolution to the meeting, the Companies Act 2006 requires at least one hundred qualifying members to request it. If you support one, you are making that request in your own name. CSL collects and presents it on your behalf, but the request is yours.

What that means for your data. Your name, address and shareholder reference are disclosed to Celtic plc so that it can verify you are a member entitled to make the request. There is no way to make a statutory request anonymously.

What we keep, and what you can see. When you sign, we store a copy of the exact resolution, supporting statement, declaration and consent wording as it appeared on your screen at that moment, so that what you agreed to cannot be altered afterwards. We email you a copy of your completed requisition, and you can download it at any time.

If you change your mind. Contact info@celticsupporters.net and we will withdraw your support.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and volunteers under strict confidentiality obligations.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. Any such data will be deleted.
